Pastina is a design studio founded in Rome in 2016 by Domenico Santoro and Francesca Puddu. Recognized for its distinctive creative universe, the studio works seamlessly across industrial design, luxury, and collectible design. Its practice is driven by the ambition to create objects in which form, function, and emotion become part of the same entity.

The studio’s deep commitment to design culture, materials, and craftsmanship results in objects that bring together imagination, function, and production. This approach has led Pastina to develop projects for leading brands, galleries, and cultural institutions, while establishing long-term collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury houses. The result is a design practice that moves naturally between industrial design and collectible design.

The studio’s work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and MAXXI, and is regularly presented at major international design events, including the Salone del Mobile.Milano, IMM Cologne, and Watches and Wonders.

Pastina has received numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award, Good Design Award, and DNA Paris Design Award, and was selected for the ADI Design Index 2021, the official nomination process for the Compasso d’Oro Award.
