Designed by Studio Pastina for Camino, the Blanka Dining Table explores the relationship between structure and protection. A light metal frame supports the contemporary table top while selected portions of the legs are wrapped in a soft covering, as if a protective layer had been applied directly to the structure. This simple intervention alters the perception of the object, softening its technical appearance and introducing an unexpected tactile quality to a minimalist dining table.
