Asymmetry as a principle, not a detail. That is where we started. Tulla lounge chair is a designed hybrid: distinct geometries that coexist without merging, each holding its own tension while making space for the other. The lines don’t align, the volumes don’t dissolve into each other, and yet the whole thing holds together.
It’s in this in-between space, in this carefully calibrated balance between differences, that form finds its movement and its identity. We wanted something that could feel immediately familiar and yet resist easy classifications. Not quite like anything else, yet completely natural. As if it had always existed, but hadn’t been designed yet.
