Planum Dining Table
Simplicity is often the result of a complex process. Planum emerged from this very exercise: designing a table reduced to its essential elements, both in its overall silhouette and in the geometry of each individual section. The result is an almost archetypal object, defined by just a few lines yet open, approachable and instantly familiar.
At the heart of the project lies the 45-degree corner joint, where the leg and the two rails converge beneath the tabletop. A discreet detail that becomes the collection’s defining feature. From this single gesture emerges a subtle play of perception: lines, proportions and thicknesses shift with the viewer’s perspective, revealing an object that expresses itself differently from every angle.
